Legendary jewellery brand and retail chain Tiffany & Co. has announced it will open its second Sydney store in November.
The 230-square-metre store, which will open at Westfield Bondi Junction Shopping Centre in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs, will be Tiffany’s sixth Australian store and only the second to be opened in a mall outside a city’s Central Business District.
“We look forward to welcoming our many customers to our new store in this exciting shopping centre,” Tiffany & Co. Australia managing director Glen Schlehuber said in a media statement. “Our prime location within the centre is the perfect home for our renowned jewellery collections and conveniently located to service our loyal clientele.”
The media release also suggested Tiffany & Co. would be designing the initial store fit-out to resemble the renowned New York flagship store.
“Tiffany architects and interior designers will utilise archival motifs to create an elegant store environment,” it read. “The colour Tiffany Blue, a symbol of excellence worldwide, will be incorporated in the façade, along with the wheat leaf pattern that frames the entrance of the Fifth Avenue flagship store. In addition, the stainless steel showcases will be trimmed with the Art Deco-inspired fluting detail that embellishes the entrance of the New York store.”
The retailer also currently has stores in Melbourne, Chadstone, Brisbane and Perth.
