Favourite gemstone:Diamonds, for their sheer magnificence in colour and shape. Favourite metal:18-carat yellow gold – I enjoy the hue of the metal and it is a pleasure to work with. Favourite tool:My saw frame. It is a skill that takes years to master. It’s the best tool for diamond ring making and hand piercing. Best new tool discovery:An Eschenbach headset, as it is light and clips onto current eyewear! Best part of job:Meeting people and contributing something meaningful toward the special occasions in their lives. Worst part of job:A lack of free time – my time is always spent in business. Best tip from a jeweller:Every job and customer is important. Best tip to a jeweller:You are only as good as your last job. Love jewellery because: I get to be creative daily!
