Additionally, member-participants will each be provided ‘Conference Cash’ valued at $30,000 to $60,000, which can be used with exhibitors at zero-interest for a 6-month term, according to organisers.
The conference will be held at the W Hotel in Brisbane from 13 to 16 May 2022, and will be centred around the theme: ‘Time Out – Time to Shine'.
“We anticipate that we will exceed our usual attendance level, which typically ranges between 180 to 200 members representing 100 stores,” Erin Keller, membership manager, Nationwide Jewellers said.
“Our initial conference program was sent to members last week, and the first member registrations were received within an hour.”
The $1,800 reward benefit for qualified members “includes accommodation, meals, functions, seminars and workshops” and organisers are expecting a high turn-out given next year’s conference will be the first time in nearly three years since the Covid pandemic restricted public gatherings and events.
The conference will also marks Nationwide’s 30th year - which was originally planned for celebration last year but was cancelled due to pandemic restrictions - and recognise members who have been with the group for the past 30 years.
“Our 30-year members are amongst some of the most successful jewellery stores in the industry,” Glen Pocklington, general manager, Nationwide said.
“These members have been regular attendees at our annual conference, and it is often here that they have made new connections, discovered fresh products and learnt business strategies to keep them inspired and motivated.”
Organisers will provide details of the conference on January 2022, while the final list of exhibitors and conference specials shall be announced prior to the event.
