A Perth jewellery robbery has been foiled after the thief was caught attempting to conceal the stolen goods in his buttocks.
The 29-year-old man was charged with stealing more than $300,000 of jewellery from a display cabinet at the Burswood Casino in Perth.
According to a local report from Perth Now, police arrested the man in the casino’s public toilets where some of the jewellery was allegedly found after a body search was conducted.
In an attempt to uncover the rest of the jewellery, the man was then taken to a local hospital where he was subjected to a further internal search.
