Indian diamond trader Hari Krishna Exports and distributor HK Designs are the new title holders after manufacturing a ring named the ‘Euitierria Ring’ featuring 50,907 diamonds.
Hari Krishna Exports managing director Ghanshyam Dholakia said it was an honour to receive the award.
“I am deeply grateful for the recognition from Guinness World Records. It is a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication at Hari Krishna Exports and HK Designs,” he said.
“We are proud to showcase our commitment to sustainability and artistic excellence through the Eutierria Ring, and we hope to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation in the jewellery industry.”
The piece is inspired by a sunflower, with the manufacturing process taking approximately nine months from design to completion. The ring features eight distinct parts including four layers of petals, the shank, two diamond discs, and a butterfly.
The name – Eutierria - means ‘becoming one with nature’ and was selected to further demonstrate the company’s commitment to sustainability.
The International Gemological Institute certified and valued the piece, confirming 130 carats of diamonds and a gold weight of 460 grams. The estimated retail value of the piece is $US785,000 ($AU1.16 million).
In July of last year, SWA Diamonds seized the world record with ‘The Touch of Ami’, a ring featuring more than 24,000 white diamonds.
