Innovation and business building the key focus for Sydney Fair

As anticipation continues to build for the International Jewellery Fair in Sydney in August, organisers Expertise Events have detailed new additions to this year’s event.

The major focus for this year’s industry gathering (19-21 August) will be innovation, headlined by the introduction of a new speciality education hub.

On the expanded venue layout, visitors will find a dedicated space that features hands-on benches where practical workshops will be hosted to help jewellers hone their skills.

There will also be presentations covering crucial retail topics, offering attendees insights and strategies to thrive in the competitive jewellery market.

With the introduction of this speciality hub, Expertise Events general manager Zac Fitz-Roy told Jeweller the Sydney Fair was an opportunity not to be missed.

"We are incredibly excited about the #MORE-Ideas, Inspiration, Information theme for this year's International Jewellery Fair," he said.

“We have curated an exceptional line-up of exhibitors one of our biggest lists in a decade. The activities will ensure that attendees have access to unparalleled opportunities for improving their businesses, along with networking and knowledge-sharing.”

Moreover, this year's fair will debut a new premier lounge, providing a luxurious retreat for VIP guests and industry leaders.

The premier lounge is designed to serve as a haven for networking, fostering new connections and collaborating among industry professionals.

“The International Jewellery Fair encourages all industry professionals, retailers, and jewellery enthusiasts to mark their calendars for this not-to-be-missed event,” Fitz-Roy added.

“With more exhibitors, more brands, more space, and a range of exciting features, this year's fair will undoubtedly surpass all expectations."

Event organisers recently confirmed the attendance of former Pandora Australia CEO Karin Adcock, who will host a four-hour wine-tasting session on day two.
