The latest fair was hosted by Informa Markets in Turkey between 5-8 October and set new records for exhibitors and visitors.
Products and services from more than 1,000 companies and brands were showcased to more than 26,000 visitors from 136 different countries. Approximately 40 per cent of visitors were international buyers.
Founding partner of the Istanbul Jewellery Show, Sermin Cengiz, said that it was an event that offered significant insight into broader industry trends and patterns.
"This has been the largest October exhibition, with the highest number of exhibitors and visitors until today,” she said.
“Exhibitions are the places where the pulse of trade is taken. We are proud that our exhibition has increased in quality and quantity, thus contributing to the industry by expanding it into new areas.”
The Istanbul Jewellery Show returns on 17-20 April next year. The event has been run since 1986 and is organised by UBM Rotaforte and Informa Markets.
