Entries are open to jewellery designers regardless of experience, with the IGI accepting submissions until 31 January free of cost.
The theme of this year’s competition is ‘Abstract Design and Retro Motifs’, with designers encouraged to find inspiration from their everyday surroundings.
CEO Tehmasp Printer said that since its launch in 2021, the IGI Expressions Awards has accepted more than 1,000 submissions.
“We witness the vital role creativity plays in designing gemstone jewellery that moves and inspires others. IGI is pleased to invite jewellery enthusiasts around the world to participate and be recognised as we continue to encourage and support creative talent,” he said.
Approximately 50 designs will become competition finalists, from which nine champions will be selected. The nine winners will see their designs fabricated by a contest partner.
Winners will be announced on 20 February.
