FAVOURITE GEMSTONE: This is difficult! Any colour-changing or bi-colour gemstone is fascinating. I also love vibrant parti sapphires and champagne salt and pepper diamonds.

FAVOURITE METAL: 18-carat yellow gold.

FAVOURITE TOOL: Polishing machine – I find it so therapeutic.
