Event organisers Informa Markets are anticipating more than 1,700 exhibitors will participate, travelling from more than 30 countries and occupying 30 pavillions based on products and categories.
The fair will be held from 20 to 23 June at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Senior vice president David Bondi said that for those hoping to stay on top of evolving industry trends, nothing beats walking the floor of the fair in person.
“In an ever-changing business landscape, our community stays nimble, consistently adjusting to challenges and embracing opportunities for growth,” he said.
“That’s precisely why it’s important to have a physical presence in live events like JGA. Nothing compares to being right where the action is.”
In a change of pace, event organisers have launched a new competition evaluating sustainability initiatives across the industry.
Director of jewellery fairs Celine Lau advised that planning was the key to making the most of major industry events.
“I strongly advise the buying community to plan ahead for JGA, since this will enhance their chances of having a successful visit,” she said.
“JGA is the place where industry professionals can make new business connections and explore valuable market resources.”
The fair offers an expansive range of products, including fine jewellery, diamonds, pearls, and colour gemstones, as well as dedicated sections for equipment, packaging, and technology.
