The diamond was created using chemical vapour deposition (CVD). It took around 270 days to grow to 190 carats of rough and around 30 days to cut and polish.
Named the Celebration of India, the diamond was created by Ethereal Green and displayed at the JCK Show in Las Vegas from 31 May to 3 June.
Hirav Virani, director at Ethereal Green, said the diamond was created with civic pride in mind.
"It gives me immense pleasure to showcase Celebration of India, which has not only created a new milestone of 75 carats but also commemorates sovereign India's remarkable achievements for over 75 years of independence," Virani said.
Tehmasp Printer, CEO of IGI, congratulated the company on its achievement and praised its commitment to innovation.
"These achievements are striking examples of Ethereal Green's dedication to innovation and ingenuity in consistently breaking their own records," Printer said.
"We congratulate their team in developing these extraordinary creations, which showcase limitless possibilities with advanced tech in the lab-grown diamond sector."
Following the JCK Show, the Celebration of India will be displayed at the RockRush store in SoHo, New York.
