It’s a sport that’s more likely to influence flavours of hairstyles than jewellery; however, a South Australian jeweller has bucked that trend with the release of a new collection.
Class A Jewellers has partnered with Port Adelaide captain Connor Rozee to release a new men’s collection featuring five rings and two cufflinks.
Rozee first interacted with the jewellery retailer last year while designing an engagement ring for fiancé Maisie Packer and told Adelaide Now that he had always been interested in jewellery.
“I’ve always had a keen interest in jewellery but found it difficult to find high-quality pieces with the durability to match my lifestyle,” he said.
“The idea to collaborate on a collection was born out of chatting about my own everyday jewellery. I loved the process of working with Class A Jewellers – and jewellery design is something I see doing again in future.”
The rings cost between $149 and $395, while the cufflinks cost between $399 and $649.
Class A Jewellers director Brad Mucklow added: “The team wanted to create a classic collection for men starting their jewellery journey and inspire them to invest in everyday pieces that last a lifetime.”
24-year-old Rozee has played 110 games for Port Adelaide and was made captain of the club in December.
