Based in Queensland, the company was started in 1994 by husband and wife Lothar and Sigrid Schafroth, and over the past three decades has evolved into a business employing ten people.
The company supplies a range of European watch and clock brands to retail partners across Australia, including Pierre Lannier and Erwin Sattler, among many others.
To mark the milestone, GCCN will host an event in Tamborine Mountain on 12 October featuring German music, entertainment, food, children’s clockmaking workshops, and a best-dressed fashion parade.
There will also be a series of prizes and giveaways – including a grandfather clock, a musical cuckoo clock, and a quartz cuckoo clock. GCCN will also offer a 30 per cent discount on selected brands during the anniversary celebration.
The supplier will also make a contribution to Wildcare Australia, and managing director Stefanie Wernekinck said it was a cause near and dear to the company.
"Our partnership with Wildcare reflects our dedication not only to preserving German heritage but also to protecting the natural beauty and biodiversity of Tamborine Mountain," she told Jeweller.
"We believe that by supporting Wildcare’s work, we can give back to the community and protect the wildlife that makes our home such a special place."
She added: "From koalas, wallabies, pademelons to the many birds that live in our rainforests, we are truly fortunate to be able to experience them in our very own backyard."
