In an announcement, the retailer said the platform gives consumers access to a vast global diamond supplier network, providing both lab-created and natural diamonds.
More than 500,000 certified diamonds, ranging between 0.3 and 20 carats, are available at the ‘click of a button’.
CEO Irene Deutsch said the platform would ensure the retailer can offer a comprehensive bespoke process.
“Fairfax & Roberts consumers will now have access to a secure and reliable global diamond wholesale service, not only guaranteeing quality but the ultimate bespoke process from selection to curation,” she said.
“This new offering benefits from Fairfax & Roberts’ incredibly strict quality control whereby consumers can feel confident knowing they now have an end-to-end, one-stop platform to alleviate the stress of navigating and selecting the diamond of their dreams.”
Director of retail Joshua Rogers described the platform as an all-inclusive, end-to-end service unlike anything else available in Australia.
“From sourcing to retailing, all diamonds undergo rigorous testing at our in-house workshop before they reach consumers and our new wholesale diamond marketplace will be no different,” he explained.
“This platform is set to be a comprehensive full-service solution, allowing consumers the unique opportunity to curate a bespoke piece of jewellery, from initial concept to final presentation at the hands of the trusted experts.”
Fairfax & Roberts is based in Sydney and has been operating since 1958.
