Lunar New Year will occur on 29 January, and in the Chinese zodiac, it marks the beginning of the Year of the Snake, the sixth animal in the 12-year cycle.
Pandora has released a new collection featuring many snake motifs, with an accompanying campaign tagged: “Feel the spark. Pass it on. Ignite luck.”
The Year of the Snake is said to bring about knowledge, intelligence, intuition, and creativity. Snakes are also associated with good fortune, prosperity, fertility, and longevity.
The collection includes new charms and bracelets. The change in calendar brings an end to the Year of the Dragon, which was celebrated by a range of jewellery brands, including Pandora.
