Swarovski reported a 6 per cent increase in revenue over the past year, reaching €1.9 billion ($AUD3.27 billion). The report noted that in the fourth quarter, sales improved by 11 per cent.
The company noted that jewellery sales improved by 9 per cent, with revenue from the Created Diamonds collection doubling year-on-year.
Operating profit was reportedly positive for the first time in five years. CEO Alexis Nasard said it was pleasing to achieve these results in an adverse economic environment.
“This strong and consistent results delivery further validates the potency of the ‘LUXignite’ strategy and Swarovski’s ability to execute with excellence,” he said.
“These achievements in a difficult and volatile environment [are] a tribute to the dedication of Swarovski’s employees and partners around the world, and to the support of our board and shareholders.”
Swarovski recently released a new jewellery collection created in collaboration with award-winning singer Ariana Grande.
