Skagen Denmark is gearing up to launch a range of contemporary stacking rings in Australia that will be marketed as a separate concept to its existing jewellery lines.
Called ‘Reflections’, the collection is set to debut internationally in October. The range will be rolled out in the Australian market at the same time as it is launched in Europe.
‘Reflections’ comprises an unusual mix of individual rings made from stainless steel and 9ct gold, priced from just $20 but designed to be mixed and matched.
Skagen Denmark’s Australian distributor, Jarass, has collaborated with a consulting firm to create a page dedicated to the collection on its website, where retailers can register their interest in stocking the range and receive updates in the lead-up to the launch.
Jarass managing director Nils Rasmussen said, “Registering on the website is an opportunity for interested stores to join our launch programme and to engage and plan with us in the countdown to the launch. They will receive information updates and get priority access to a Skagen sales executive.”
Stockists of the new jewellery collection will receive a tailor-made merchandise unit for the stacking rings, which is designed to allow customers to “try before they buy”, according to Rasmussen, who forecasts that the range will generate a high turnover. “[The merchandising unit] has a small footprint and includes a simple inventory management system,” he said.
