The upcoming Melbourne and Brisbane jewellery fairs will showcase the works of apprentice jewellers.
In a bid to support young jewellery designers, event organiser Expertise Events is providing select students the chance to feature their final year’s major works in the ‘Emerging Talent Display’ to be held at the Melbourne and Brisbane Jewellery Fairs.
A new feature at this year’s Melbourne Jewellery Fair, the display invites certificate three apprentices in Jewellery Manufacturing from Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT) to display their major end-of-year works.
This Brisbane Jewellery Fair will display the works of certificate three students from the South Bank Institute of Technology as well as the Queensland College of Art.
Representatives from the respective institutions will be on-hand at the fairs providing information on available jewellery courses.
Now in it’s second year, the Melbourne Jewellery Fair will run from March 4-5, while the Brisbane fair will take place from March 25-26.
