Thomas Sabo jewellery goes racing

High profile jewellery brand Thomas Sabo has become the official watch partner for the Caulfield Cup Carnival.
The Spring Racing Carnivals have begun and Thomas Sabo has gotten into the spirit by partnering with Melbourne Racing Club for the 2012 BMW Caulfield Cup Carnival.

The promotion extends throughout the 2013 Caulfield Summer Festival of Racing Fashion and Entertainment Program.

The Chadstone Fashion Stakes winners, as announced on Caulfield Guineas Day 13th October and BMW Caulfield Cup Day 20th October, will each win a Thomas Sabo watch.

Philip Edwards, managing director Duraflex Group Australia, Thomas Sabo’s local distributor said, “We are thrilled to partner with Melbourne Racing Club for one of the most highly anticipated events on the Australian sporting and social calendar.

“As an international lifestyle brand with strong alignments in sporting arenas worldwide we look forward to connecting with Australian Horse Racing fans and Spring Carnival attendees this season.”

Edwards secured the Australian distribution rights for the popular German brand in 2006 and it has quickly become renowned for its high-profile and star-studded launches and promotions.

Only a few months ago more than 500 guests, including Australia’s fashion media, jewellery retailers, selected celebrities and VIP’s, packed into Sydney’s famous Ivy ballroom to celebrate the launch of the Sweet Diamonds Collection, the latest range from Thomas Sabo.
