The victory was “a rare feat on the global stage”, according to Time Essentials managing director, John Papaioannou, who has just returned from the awards ceremony held recently in Miami.
“As you could imagine, we were pretty happy when we were announced as the winner. It made the jet lag so much easier to take,” Papaioannou said, adding, “We were also the leading growth market in the world in 2012.”
Papaioannou attributed the company’s success to the hard work of the Time Essentials staff and the strength of the Bulova brand since it was launched in Australia in 2010.
“Since then, the brand has achieved incredible results and has reaffirmed our belief that the Australian market was looking for a watch brand that offered an amazing assortment of products, extremely high quality and excellent value for money,” he said.
“More than 110 retailers in Australia now carry the brand and this is growing every month,” Papaioannou added.
“We’d like to thank all of our wonderful customers for their support and this award has as much to do with them; the ones who decided to give it a try and have never looked back.”
