Samsung mobile vice president Young Hee Lee told online news agency Bloomberg: “We are working very hard to get ready for it. We are preparing products for the future. The watch is definitely one of them.”
For some time pundits worldwide have speculated that technology game-changer Apple would be launching an “iWatch” product any tick of the clock, which the company has neither publicly confirmed nor denied.
Earlier this month, Swatch CEO Nick Hayek told analysts in a Bloomberg article: “Personally, I don’t believe it’s the next revolution [the iWatch]. Replacing an iPhone with an interactive terminal on your wrist is difficult. You can’t have an immense display.”
Many people still like their watches to function as jewellery, Hayek added.
