Released in October, which is national breast cancer awareness month, the two-piece collection includes a Pink Lady pin and a Pink Lady pendant featuring Swarovski zirconia. The items were also designed to celebrate Breast Cancer Network Australia’s (BCNA) 15-year anniversary.
Both pieces retail for $34.95, with $10 from every purchase going directly to the organisation.
Showcase CEO Michael Mishevski explained that the partnership was a perfect opportunity for the buying group and its members to give back to the community.
“We hope that in creating this gorgeous pin and pendant we do our bit to help fund the support provided by BCNA to women, men and families facing a breast cancer journey,” he said.
Head of sponsorship and communications at BCNA, Kirsten Pilatti, added the network was thrilled to be celebrating its 15-year anniversary with Showcase in such a meaningful way.
“Without support from generous companies like Showcase Jewellers, BCNA wouldn’t be able to continue to support these women and their families,” she said.
BCNA aims to ensure that women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families receive the best information, treatment, care and support possible. It consists of a network of more than 85,000 individual members and 310 member groups.
