Rihanna accused of stealing Coronet Diamonds image, What role does 3D printing play in fine jewellery market? Jewellery box captures royal charm

Rihanna may be shining bright like a diamond in a recent social media post but is it for the wrong reason? US-based diamond jewellery business Coronet Diamonds has accused the pop star of stealing its image for her own social media accounts and is requesting an apology.

Developers of a soon-to-be-launched online jewellery marketplace claim to be able to offer high-end jewellery pieces using the same technology as Tiffany & Co and Cartier at a much lower price-point. How? 3D printing of course. While it might be good news for consumers what does it mean for the traditional jewellery industry?

Meanwhile, Viscount David Linley – nephew of Queen Elizabeth II – has possibly created England’s most fascinating castle. The deceptive structure is in fact a jewellery box complete with hidden compartments.
