Amanda Seyfried pairs gold on gold at Tony Awards, Queen’s granddaughter launches horse-inspired jewellery, Move over diamond; the pearl is back!

The biggest names in Broadway attended the 2015 Tony Awards last week, with the red carpet showcasing a host of eye-catching jewellery pieces on the likes of Amanda Seyfried, Bella Hadid and Kristin Chenoweth.

Pearl might have a long history; however, the gem is proving to be anything but old-fashioned. Jewellery designers are breathing new life into pearls and are racking up an expanding list of young high-profile fans in the process, including the Duchess of Cambridge.

Speaking of the British royal family, the Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Phillips, is launching a jewellery collection in collaboration with Australian jeweller John Calleija. Phillips is an accomplished equestrian so it probably comes as no surprise that the range is inspired by her love of horses.
