Italian jewellery business Le Corone has expanded the distribution of its innovative jewellery range to encompass Australia and New Zealand.
The collection includes rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings incorporating different coloured cubic zirconia; however, it is arguably a design feature that allows for the re-sizing of rings and bracelets that offers the main point of difference.

Le Corone Australia managing director Mandy Thurgar explained that the rings and bracelets had adjustable coloured silicone bands that jewellery retailers could cut to a size that suited the wearer.
Thurgar said a spare silicone band in a different colour also came with each piece to promote customisation, adding that she believed these aspects would be positively received within the local market.
“Interchangeable jewellery allows the wearer to customise their jewellery to suit their outfits and style,” she stated. “It [Le Corone] is new, exciting and offers a wide variety of options.”
Thurgar, who has an exclusive distribution agreement for Australia and New Zealand, said she discovered the collection in Italy and was immediately drawn to the jewellery’s vivid colours.
“I wanted to share my find with Australia,” she explained. “I have never seen anything like this here and felt that it would be a fabulous addition to the Australian market – an object of desire that becomes a daily luxury.”
Le Corone was founded in 2011 by Lorenza Barboni and Giorgio Raffaeli and is currently distributed in more than 600 outlets worldwide, including in Europe, Dubai and Brazil.
