Timesupply lands another Euro brand

Timesupply has announced the distribution of German range Qudo, which taps into the current interchangeable trend and continues the supplier’s association with European jewellery collections.

Timesupply managing director Ken Abbott said the distribution deal was finalised in July and the range would make its official entrance into the local market at the upcoming International Jewellery Fair (IJF).

Abbott explained that the decision to expand the supplier’s jewellery stable, which includes fellow German range Coeur de Lion and Danish range Dansk Smykkekunst, was influenced by retailer feedback.

“With the ongoing success of Coeur de Lion and Dansk Smykkekunst, we are constantly being asked by our retail partners if we are bringing any new brands into our portfolio,” Abbott said.

“With its factory based in Hanover, Germany, Qudo offers outstanding design, innovative concepts and high quality at very popular price points.”

The Qudo Famosa range comprises interchangeable ‘gem tops’ that can be attached to rings, bangles, bracelets, necklaces and earrings, while My Bangles is an interchangeable bangle range with reversible, coloured and textured leather inserts.

International backing

Abbott added that several Coeur de Lion international suppliers were already distributing the range.

“When in Germany in June for the Coeur de Lion 30th anniversary celebrations, we discovered that Qudo was also being distributed by many of the Coeur de Lion distributors in other countries with success,” he said.

“Arriving back in Australia, I had long talk with the UK distributor about the success they are experiencing, especially with the collectable, interchangeable Famosa range. Timesupply had also been recommended as the preferred distributor for Australia and New Zealand.”

Qudo was founded in 2009 and is based in Hanover, Germany.

In addition to Coeur de Lion and Dansk Smykkekunst, Timesupply distributes Danish Design, Vostok-Europe and Jacob Jensen watches.

The IJF will take place in Sydney from 26 August to 28 August.
