The debut collection includes three bracelet ranges – Essentialle, Idylle and Amourette – that capitalise on the current trend of consumers layering watches and bracelets to create a unique look.
While the range was introduced internationally on 17 August, Simon Garber, director of the Dutch brand’s Australian and New Zealand distributor Heart & Grace, explained that the IJF would mark the first time local retailers would see the offering.
The bracelets have been designed in an effort to complement Cluse watches, using the brand’s ‘signature’ metals and raw marble accents.
Garber said he expected the range would be successful in the local market as Australian and New Zealand Millennials had already embraced the layering of bracelets and watches.
“Layering provides the consumer an opportunity to express their own unique style by mixing and matching designs and colours,” Garber said.
“Layering with fine, delicate bracelets has been a rising trend and combining with watches creates exciting textures and a stylish look.”
Garber added that this was also a trend readily displayed on local social media platforms and that initial feedback from current stockists had been very positive.
“Stockists have been keen to leverage the success and demand for Cluse watches into new categories,” he said.
“Stockists that run Cluse watches and jewellery in stores will have the opportunity to up-sell to their customers by offering items that complement each other and create a very current look.”
Heart & Grace has distributed Cluse watches in Australia and New Zealand since July 2015. Samples of the bracelets will be on display at the supplier’s IJF stand, with the range expected to be available in store in November.
The IJF will be held from Saturday 26 August to Monday 28 August at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.
