Favourite gemstone:Natural deep red rubies – especially when they’re accompanied with bright white diamonds. Favourite metal:Any metal that is not silver! Favourite tool:My hands (without these nothing would get done!) and my imagination. Best part of job:No two handmakes are the same, which keeps it challenging and interesting. Worst part of job:I’m yet to find one! Best tip from a jeweller:It’s right or it’s wrong – don’t compromise. Best tip to a jeweller:Always listen to a customer’s requirements – you can never have too many details. Biggest health concern on the bench:Failing eyesight and back problems. Love jewellery because: The pieces of jewellery that can be created are endless. My bench is always: Reasonably tidy, because it is a bench that is used and not for display purposes only! |
