Founded in the city of Valenza in 1986, Salvini specialises in contemporary diamond jewellery manufactured in Italy. It is currently stocked by more than 1,000 retailers in Europe.
Andrew Pascoe, Avstev Group marketing manager, told Jeweller, “Salvini – part of the Damiani Group of companies – is one of the most well recognised in the Italian jewellery market. However, Salvini will be introduced into the Australian market with a highly competitive price point, from $400.
“Being able to offer customers Italian-made, precious products from a global brand at this price point is Salvini’s point of difference.”
Celebrities including Eva Longoria and Sharon Stone have appeared in Salvini advertising campaigns.
Pascoe said the brand appeals to a range of different demographics with contemporary designs, precious materials and “an aspirational brand”.
“As retailers in the Australian market seek solutions and new products to offer their customers, Salvini will be introduced to complement and build on their existing business, offering luxurious diamond accessories, without the worry of design and production,” he added.
Avstev Group currently distributes fine jewellery brands Qeelin and Pomellato, and watch brands Raymond Weil and Ulysse Nardin, among others.
