The engagement of Princess Beatrice has thrown the spotlight back on the rings worn by the royal family.

Princess Beatrice’s Art Deco-inspired ring features a round-cut centre stone, flanked by tapered baguette diamonds and set in platinum. Valued at £60,000 ($AU108,000).
Princess Eugenie designed her ring with now-husband Jack Brooksbank. It features a Padparadscha sapphire in a halo of white diamonds. Valued at £110,000 ($AU198,000).
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge – previously known as Kate Middleton – wears Princess Diana’s blue sapphire and white diamond engagement ring. Valued at £300,000 ($545,000).
