Pandora was a standout performer, winning accolades from all three buying groups. It was awarded Australian Supplier of the Year by Leading Edge and Showcase, while in the Nationwide awards it lost out to Duraflex in Australia but won the same gong for its New Zealand business.
Jewellers across New South Wales and Victoria shone in member categories at all three of the awards nights.
For the Leading Edge awards night on August 26, 150 members of the industry descended upon the Star Room in Darling Harbour to celebrate 16 winners across eight categories.
Showcase and Nationwide Jewellers held their award nights concurrently on August 29, during this year’s International Jewellery Fair.
Held at the Star City Casino, the Showcase Gala Awards dinner attracted 300 retailers and suppliers. During the night, Showcase also announced its new Board of Directors and held a silent auction where over $20,000 was raised for Cure our Kids foundation.
Meanwhile, 330 members of the jewellery industry attended the Nationwide dinner at Doltone House. Nationwide Jewellers held awards in four categories: Australian and New Zealand Members of the Year and Australian and New Zealand Suppliers of the Year.
