Local jewellery brands to launch in Sydney

Local jewellery brands are poised for inaugural product launches at the upcoming Sydney Jewellery Fair.
As the International Jewellery Fair draws closer many Australian brands are gearing up to showcase a wide range of new products, innovations and trends over the three day event.

Sydney-based supplier, Pretty Pink is launching a new Argyle pink diamond collection. According to Pretty Pink co-founder Antonio Kelzi, the new product has received positive responses from retailers despite not yet being available.

“We are very confident this will do extremely well because it is a new look that incorporates Argyle pink diamonds at an affordable price to retailers,” Kelzi said.

Also debuting at the fair is Brisbane-based My Little Pearl – which specialises in children’s pearl jewellery. Director Nadine Moore founded the company in February 2011 to fill a gap in the market for kid’s pearl jewellery. “I do think children’s jewellery is always going to have a place in the market especially if you offer a niche product that is an investment,” Moore said.

Cashelle is another supplier poised to launch its new ‘UrbanMetro Jewellery’ collection in Sydney. The range of contemporary stainless steel and sterling silver jewellery is post-modern in design and Cashelle is targeting a younger demographic between 15-35-year olds.

Finally, Melbourne-based company Global Jewellery Concepts is launching a successful overseas range into the Australian market.

Global Jewellery Concepts director Kylie Zamel is buoyant about the release of EverGem in Australia, particularly after the success garnered abroad.

“After the success of selling EverGem in the UK, we recently launched EverGem into stores in Australia,” Zamel said. EverGem features 9ct gold pieces set with diamond simulants.
