Tuskc general manager Melissa Gibson said she was overwhelmed that the company had been selected to appear on the list from thousands of entrants.
Information about where Tuskc will be ranked on the list is unconfirmed, but Gibson said she wasn’t concerned if the brand was ranked first or 100th.
“The continued support of our wonderful jewellery retailers made it possible to be included on this influential listing,” Gibson said, noting that the brand is stocked in 220 outlets across Australia and New Zealand.
Tuskc specialises in stainless steel jewellery and is backed by 90-year-old Australian fashion company, Buckle, which is based in Sydney.
“Tuskc have really come a long way in the past 12 months, and speaking on behalf of the team, I cannot thank our retail partners enough.”
Gibson said changes implemented over the past year, including variations to product strategies and designs, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives and management, may have unsettled some retailers but had paid dividends.
She added that those stores that stuck with the brand and adapted had really “reaped the rewards.”
“We will be turning four soon, so we are getting a little ‘older and wiser’ – our recent transformations have had positive effects on our retail partners. Just think, Tuskc did not appear on the BRW listing by looking pretty!”
