Duraflex to distribute Mondaine watches

Duraflex Group Australia (DGA) has announced it will introduce Swiss watchmaking company Mondaine to its stable of watch brands that will be on display at the Sydney Fair.

DGA’s exclusive distribution of Mondaine watches will commence for retailers on 7 October, but the International Jewellery Fair will provide the supplier an opportunity to showcase its collection in advance.

DGA director Philip Edwards said he was proud of the announcement yesterday on Monday 20 August and was pleased to see the company’s continued partnership with SwissTimeHQ.

“The addition of the Mondaine brand to our watch division is another important development for the planned growth of our business as a leading multi-branded distribution company,” he said.

“The team at SwissTimeHQ has over the last 15 years imported, distributed and serviced Mondaine timepieces and has, in the process, established a very loyal following for the brands, and DGA is looking forward to maintaining and building the brand further in the market.”

DGA recently announced the distribution of three new brands in Australia and New Zealand: Ania Haie, Save Brave and Limit, all of which will be showcased at IJF.

Mondaine has been hailed for its simple design and easy-to-read face. It will join other watch brands: Jag, Police, TW Steel, Sekonda, Limit, Hirsch within DGA and will be on display at stand A12 at the IJF.
