The pendant is 9-carat gold, while the bluebird features sterling silver and enamel.
The bluebird is considered a traditional symbol for happiness, and is a popular motif in children's jewellery.
The piece is available to retailers now.
Paterson Fine Jewellery also has a range of silver bracelets and charms for babies called My Little Angels, which includes name bracelets spelled out with charms in the shape of building blocks.
The company is currently working on a range aimed at the tween market (girls aged between eight and 15), called Luvlets. The range includes enamel and silver beads on charm bracelets. It is due out in July.
